St. Valentine’s Day Massacre, err… Melees and Equestrian Practice

Their Excellencies of Raven’s Fort, Brian du Val and Fionna ni Cheallaigh do invite one and all to gather your forces and prepare your army for the next Gulf War. A day of melees will be held just after St. Valentine's Day that will consist of Chivalric, Archery, Siege and Rapier Combat. This will be the last grand melee before our war with Trimaris.
Lord Alaric Sweinbrothar will be the Head Cook and provide a feast for 150. Feast will include: a white bean based chicken chili (stew) with a hint of spice, plain rice, breads, cheeses, and butters, fruits/dessert, drinks (including a hot choice if we have low temperatures). A Vegetarian option will be available, but MUST be RSVPd to Lord Alaric, as availability will be very limited.
Site fee: Adult $8, Children aged 6-18 years $4, Under 5 free. A Non-member charge of $3 will be applied for all Adults without proof of SCA membership.

St. Valentine’s Day Massacre, err… Melees and Equestrian Practice will be held at the Stones of Raven’s Fort near Huntsville, TX and sponsored by the Barony of Raven’s Fort. Please remember The Stones of Raven’s Fort is a Primitive Site. The site opens at 4:00 pm on Friday, February 15, 2008 and closes at 12:00 noon on Sunday, February 17, 2008. Period containers are required for all beverages.
Per site request all mammals MUST have WRITTEN proof of current rabies vaccination. Horses must have written proof of a negative Coggins test.
Minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. They may also attend with a 21 year or older adult with a signed and notarized Minor Event Waiver Form from the parents.
